Medallion


Context

I was the sole (contract) designer for the art direction across Medallion’s marketing pages, and product design systems, aiming to bridge the gap between brand and product. Medallion aims to simplify medical licensing. The new marketing website launched in late 2020.

I built their marketing language at seed funding; the company just raised Series C led by Spark Capital and GV and is trusted by healthcare brands like Ro, Curai, and Cityblock Health. Since the funding round, they've redesigned their marketing pages.


I explored brand personalities to support a balance of professionalism and playfulness, by looking at other healthcare brands, mixing and matching various layouts, typography, and colors. I worked closely with an illustrator, Spencer Gabor, to incorporate the brand colors and textures into his illustrations.
